Bill Gates, founder of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, faced legal action from seven Dutch plaintiffs who accused him of involvement in a “tortious act” as part of the “Covid-19: The Great Reset Project.” The case was heard in the District Court of Leeuwarden, Netherlands, on September 18, 2024, with the verdict announced on October 16, 2024.
Although Gates did not attend the hearing, his legal team from PelsRijcken argued that the Dutch court lacked jurisdiction since Gates is an American citizen. Despite this, the court ruled on October 16 that it did have jurisdiction to hear the case, rejecting Gates’ argument.
*Plaintiffs’ Claims*
The claimants allege that Gates and his representatives, including Hofstra et al., misled them about the safety and effectiveness of the Covid-19 vaccines as part of “The Great Reset Project.” This project, linked to the World Economic Forum (WEF) and the United Nations (UN), seeks to reorganize global society through forced changes, citing crises such as the Covid-19 pandemic. According to the plaintiffs, Gates’ actions were unlawful and caused them harm.
*Jurisdictional Dispute*
Gates’ defence centred on disputing the jurisdiction of the Dutch court, arguing that no treaty exists between the Netherlands and the U.S. to govern such civil matters. However, the court ruled that Dutch international jurisdiction laws, specifically Articles 1 to 14 of the Dutch Code of Civil Procedure, were sufficient to allow the case to proceed.
*Verdict and Next Steps*
Following the ruling, additional evidence and details were published by the Foundation Right to Right. The plaintiffs’ lawyers, Arno van Kessel and Peter Stassen, are expected to provide further updates in an interview scheduled for October 27.
