FBMI, one of FASA’s alliance groups, has partnered with Garden of Life (GOL) in the fight against hunger, poverty and crime.

June 2022, Nelson Mandela Bay – FASA together with GOL, arranged and completed the initial training of missionary group FBMI who has partnered with GOL through the Non-profit, FBMI Transform.

Steven Barnard of GOL trained the students in the GOL Micro farming agri-trepreneur techniques. Roughly 30 enthusiastic participants progressed from theory to practical, the end result being a garden of roughly 180 Spinach plants.

Equipped to empower communities in micro-farming and business skills, this group have already been at work in the Eastern Cape, rallying schools, communities and businesses to be the change that we need in South Africa.
