Catastrophic Contagion – pandemic simulation led by Johns Hopkins center for Health Security

The ‘Center for Health Security’ has in recent months completed a new pandemic simulation, much like the one completed in the months before the last global pandemic wave, Event 201.

This new pandemic simulation called ‘Catastrophic Contagion’ involved the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and John Hopkins Center for Health Security working with health officials from multiple countries including Senegal, Rwanda, Nigeria, Angola, Liberia, Singapore, India and Germany.

The framing of the simulation projects a much more widespread and lethal Enterovirus ‘with a higher fatality rate than covid-19 and disproportionately affecting children and young people’.
