C40 is a global network of mayors from leading cities committed to addressing the climate crisis. They aim to cut emissions in half by 2030, limit global heating to 1.5°C, and create healthy and resilient communities. C40 supports mayors through various initiatives such as climate action plan support, regional programs, international advocacy, and sharing best practices.
Membership operates on performance-based requirements, not on fees, and every city in the C40 network is reviewed annually against our Leadership Standards.
